Ya know, I’m getting pretty tired of living in an area where tons of awesome stuff goes on but I never know about it until it’s too late. And ever since I started reading sfist.com it’s just made things worse.
Like this. What gives? I so want to get in on a flash mob. I’ve tried finding websites, mailing lists, emailing people from flickr who were there to take pictures. You know what one guy said to me? “Just talk to folks who like to participate in these sorts of things, or visit the online places where they hang out.” Um, hello, what do you think I was doing by contacting you?
I really don’t like this whole “cool crowd” mentality that requires me to be a fucking groupie in order to get involved with a zombie mob or the occasional pillow fight. I mean really. Just put me on the fucking list.
