I admit it. I watch America’s Next Top Model. And I’d just like to make a quick note about one of the ladies in this cycle, Russian-out-of-Texas Natasha (not a mail order bride). I don’t know if she’ll make it through to win, but bless her and her struggle with our crazy language. Also, she’s totally not a mail order bride. Nope.
But in this last episode, she’s talking about life back in Russia and how it didn’t give her a lot of options in life, which is why she is so thankful to be in the States (but definitely NOT as a mail order bride). And she says, verbatim, “When I was growing up in Russia, I believed that I can do something bigger than just marrying some guy from the S… from next door.”
So like I said, not a mail order bride. At all.
But back to my favorite show Heroes. Oh my god I love this show and want its babies. And Peter Petrelli FINALLY took care of those awful emo bangs, slicked them back, grew some stubble, and now looks exactly like Gavin Newsom. Hot.
I am also super excited about the future episode, which is so geeky and perfect that I may have to actually watch it on tv instead of downloading it later and avoiding the commercials.
