because the groundhog can control the weather

I’ve been going back and forth from being insanely busy to doing nothing at all. I’m kind of stuck in the “nothing” phase at the moment, so I thought I’d take the time to catch up.
A few weekends ago I went to hang out with the lurvely Heather, who was in San Jose for a [...]

enjoying this blog stats thing

Yesterday somebody used the search term “leprosy to the tune of yesterday” and found my blog. And I was happy to help. Because I totally know that song. Thank you, girl scout camp. And thank you, blog stats tracker thingy.

take that!

I think when it comes to riffing on video games, VG Cats does it better than most.
So it’s that time of year again. The whole Valentine’s Day/Birthday double whammy. I’ve noticed how jaded everyone at work is about V-Day, the students included. I think Hallmark is losing its tenacious grip on our sentiments (read:guilt-enduced spending).

I’d like to do it again, but unfortunately the intercom has been disabled on this building, so I can’t buzz people in and lay in wait behind the [...]

LeSigh

This goes into my “I love everything Neil Gaiman” bookmark file. Trust me, it’s kinda big.

Champagne in a plastic cup

This was at SLC, during some senior lunch thingy at the President’s house. I don’t know why but I think this shot is adorable. And you should too.

Sinead at Camden Fort

My kingdom for a camera with better resolution.
Seriously.
I had to zoom in a bit for this, too, which made it even more fuzzy. I love the composition, I love the colors, I just want it to be CLEARER!
